With the advancement of globalization and increasingly closer economic ties among countries in the Asia-Pacific region, China is playing a more prominent role in promoting Asia-Pacific economic integration. Since the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) went into effect in January 2022, regional cooperation featuring shared dividends and synergy for development has made fresh progress. Despite the severe challenges posed by the accelerating divergence of the global economy, shrinking demand and sluggish growth, collaborative efforts to build a high-level RCEP regional market will not only inject strong momentum into both regional and global economic growth, but also bring siqnificant certainty to an increasingly uncertain global economy. Addressing key issues surrounding regional economic development, the book compiles studies and insights from renowned experts and scholars on RCEP. It offers readers a comprehensive overview of the regional trade within the RCEP framework while helping them understand the new opportunities and prospects that RCEP presents. This book will serve as an invaluable resource for anyone interested in the subject.
